PROCEEDINGS CHAIRMAN SVINICKI: Good afternoon. I call the affirmation session to order. I believe Madam Secretary we have three items for affirmation. Would you please lead us through.

ANNETTE VIETTI-COOK: The first item is on SECY-18-0122 - Diversified Scientific Services, Inc. (Export of Low-Level Waste).

The Commission is being asked to act on a Memorandum and Order responding to a request for hearing and petition to intervene filed by Nuclear Information and Resource Service, Tennessee Environmental Council, and Dont Waste Michigan (collectively referred to as the Petitioners) on an export license application submitted by Diversified Scientific Services, Inc.

The Commission has voted to approve a Memorandum and Order denying the Petitioners request for a hearing and directing the NRC staff to consider the petition as a public comment on Diversified Scientific Services application, consistent with 10 C.F.R. § 110.81(a).

ANNETTE VIETTI-COOK: The second item is SECY-19-0010 - Interim Storage Partners LLC (Waste Control Specialists Consolidated Interim Storage Facility) on Licensing Board Panel 18-6.

4 The Commission is being asked to act on a referred ruling from the Board denying a motion to disqualify all three Board judges from the Waste Control Specialists Consolidated Interim Storage Facility license proceeding.

The Commission has voted to approve a Memorandum and Order affirming the Boards ruling.

ANNETTE VIETTI-COOK: The third item is SECY-19-0019 - Entergy Nuclear Vermont Yankee, LLC, and Entergy Nuclear Operations, Inc. (Vermont Yankee Nuclear Power Station).

The Commission is being asked to act in response to the State of Vermont and the New England Coalition withdrawal of their petitions to intervene and hearing requests in the license transfer proceeding involving the Vermont Yankee Nuclear Power Station.

The Commission has voted to approve a Memorandum and Order to dismiss the petitions and requests for hearing without prejudice and terminate the proceeding.
