ISFSI Tech Spec 5.3 Independent Spent Fuel Storage Installation (ISFSI} Annual Effluent Report, January through December 2018 Pursuant to the requirements of 10 CFR 72.44(d)(3) and the Prairie Island Nuclear Generating Plant ISFSI Technical Specifications, Section 5.3, Northern States Power Company, a Minnesota corporation, doing business as Xcel Energy (hereafter "NSPM"),
submits the enclosed ISFSI Annual Effluent Report for the period of January 2018 through December 2018.
Summary of Commitments This letter contains no new commitments and no revisions to existing commitments.

ENCLOSURE PRAIRIE ISLAND NUCLEAR GENERATING PLANT ANNUAL ISFSI EFFLUENT REPORT January 2018 through December 2018 Independent Spent Fuel Storage Installation During the 2018 calendar year, there were four (4) additional casks loaded and placed in the Prairie Island ISFSI. At the end of the 2018 calendar year, there were a total of forty (44) casks loaded in the Prairie Island ISFSI.
Airborne Effluent Releases from the ISFSI There was no airborne effluent release from the Prairie Island ISFSI during the calendar year 2018.
Liquid Effluent Releases from the ISFSI There was no liquid effluent release from the Prairie Island ISFSI during the calendar year 2018.
