Pursuant to 10 C.F.R. § 2.336 and the Atomic Safety and Licensing Boards November 29, 2017 Initial Scheduling Order, C-10 Research and Education Foundation, Inc. (C-10) hereby discloses the addition of an expert who will work with us to support our contentions in Docket No. 50-443-LA-2.

Jason H. Ideker, Ph.D. Associate Professor at Oregon State University, Corvallis, Oregon Mr. Ideker is an experienced associate professor with a demonstrated history of working in the higher education industry. Skilled in Concrete Durability, Alkali-Silica Reaction, Cement Chemistry, E-Learning, Materials Science, and Sustainability. Mr. Ideker earned a doctorate focused in Civil Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin.

C-10 hereby requesting that Mr. Ideker be granted access to protected documents under NRC Docket No. 50-443-LA-2, regarding the license amendment request (LAR) 16-03 from NextEra Energy Seabrook, LLC (NextEra) to adopt a methodology to monitor the impacts of alkali-silica reaction (ASR) on concrete structures at Seabrook Station, Unit No. 1 (Seabrook). C-10 reserves the right to submit additional names and affidavits as this matter progresses in accordance with the Atomic Safety and Licensing Boards orders.
