-on-Force (FOF) Inspection Process in response to SRM

-SECY-17-0100.*Ensure a common understanding regarding staff's proposed response.

Background

  • SECY-17-0100 -Staff provided options for improving the FOF inspection program and discussed work on crediting operator actions and LLEA
  • SRM-SECY-17-0100 --Approved staff's recommendation to modify the FOF inspection program to include one NRC

-conducted FOF exercise and an enhanced inspection of a licensee-conducted annual exercise

-Directed staff to develop and submit a framework for a revised security inspection program, including how an indeterminate exercise is addressed*Response to the Commission due in April 2019 Proposed Revision to FOF Inspection Program

  • Revision to inspection procedures
