NRC IE BULLETINS 76-02 AND 76-03 DOCKET NO. 50-272 AND 50-311 NO. 1 AND 2 UNITS SALEM NUCLEAR GENERATING STATION Supplefuentary to our letter of May 11, 1976, the following information is offered.
As part of the testin~ operation of the (manufacturer's supplied preass~mbled) Vital Eris Circ~it Breakers, Salem No. 1 and 2 Units, it was found that GE type HMA relays were installed by the manufacturer as an integral part
- of the assembly.
Inspection verified that these GE type HMA relays are fitted with coil spools made of LEXAN.
In addition please be advised that we do not have any GE type HKA relays in the Salem installation.
