CIRCUIT MODIFICATIONS DOCKET NOS. 50-272 AND 50-3ll NO. 1 AND 2 UNITS SALEM NUCLEAR GENERATING STATION In accordance with IE Circular 76-01 dated July 28, 1976 and received August 2, l9t6 we offer the following:
We have reviewed the requirements of this circular as it applie£ to Salem Nuclear Generating Station and as requeste~ r~spond with the following answer to questions listed on the second page of the circular.
None of the spent fuel shipping cask or other critical load handling cranes have hoist control systems utilizing the General Electric "mag speed" or similar system.
No modifications similar to the described modifications have been made and none are planned.
