NRC IE nULLETIN NO. 78-10 BERGEH~PATERSON HYDRAULIC SHOCK SUPPRESSOR AccmrnLATOR SPRING COILS NO. 1 AND 2 UNITS SALEM NUCLEAR GENERATING STATION In reply to IE Bulletin 78-10 dated June 27, 1978 and received on July 5, 1978, we offer the following response:
No Bergen-Paterson hydraulic snubbers are installed or in ready spare at Salem Nuclear Generating Station.
Public Service Electric and Gas Company has not purchased nor intends to purchase any hydraulic snubbers from Bergen-Paterson Pipesupport Cor~oration for the Salem units.
Should additional. information be desired, we will be pleased to further discuss it with you.
