APPENDIX I TO 10 CFR 50 SALEM NUCLEAR GENERATING STATION DOCKET NOS. 50-272 AND 50-311 Representatives of PSE&G attended a meeting held on April 8, 1976 at NRC's King of Prussia office for all Region I utilities who filed an application for a construction permit prior to January 2, 1971.

The purpose of the meeting was to discuss information submittals required under Appendix I to 10 CFR 50.

At the meeting, a handout (copy attached) was given to attendees indi-cating that an applicant or licensee can submit the required information after June 4, 1976, provided that a schedule for submitting the remaining information is indicated.

This statement was repeated verbally by NRC representatives (Messrs. J. Collins, et.al.).

We are writing to confirm our understanding of the data submittal schedule and will proceed on the basis outlined in the attached NRC handout unless notified to the contrary.
