Good afternoon Mr. Schmidt,
2 The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) is submitting a Draft Environmental Assessment (EA) related to our review of LaCrosseSolutions request to amend the LaCrosse Boiling Water Reactors license to include the License Termination Plan (LTP). The NRC would like to request your review and comments on the Draft EA by January 20, 2019. The NRC will address comments received on the Draft EA and then publish a Final EA and a Finding of No Significant Impact in the Federal Register.
Please note that the Draft EA is pre-decisional information that is limited to the use of the State and its staff. Disclosure or distribution of the EA is prohibited without prior NRC permission. The file is password protected so I will send the password in a separate email. The NRC staff intends to make the final EA publicly available. References used in the EA are publicly available through the NRCs electronic reading room (ADAMS) at http://www.nrc.gov/reading-rm/adams.html. The ADAMS accession number is provided for each reference.
Ive copied Mr. Zeichart on this email. I have spoken with him a few times about the project. You may send comments back to me, via email, at this address.
