No. 13 Steam Generator Stearn Flow Channel I Inoperable.
CONDITIONS PRIOR TO OCCURRENCE:

160 MWe DESCRIPTION OF OCCURRENCE:
On 1-21-77 #13 S/G Stearn Flow Channel I was declared inoperable due to inconsistent readings.
Technical Specification Action Statement No. 14 for LCO 3.3.2.1 was implemented and No. 13 S/G Stearn Flow Channel I was placed in the tripped.condition.
DESIGNATION OF APPARENT CAUSE OF OCCURRENCE:
Failure of Differential Pressure Transmitter Diaphragm and Mechanical Linkage to the output Servo System caused minimum output for varying D/P inputs.
ANALYSIS OF OCCURRENCE:
Technical Specification Action *statement No. 14 for LCO 3.3.2.1 states that with the number of operable channels one less than the total number of channels, operations may continue until the performance of the next required channel function test, providing the inoperable channel is placed in the tripped condition within one hour.
No. 13 S/G Stearn Flow Channel was placed in the tripped position within the one hour allowance, therefore the Technical Specifications were not violated.
At no time was there any danger to the health and safety of the general public or site personnel.

- 2/5/77 CORRECTIVE ACTION:
The inoperable Differential Pressure Transmitter was replaced with an in-house spare.
Operational tests were made and proper perfor-mance verified.
