Dear Sir or Madam:
BWXT Nuclear Operations Group, Inc.- Lynchburg (BWXT NOG-L), is submitting to the U.S.
Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) a summary of changes for calendar year 2018 for the Lynchburg facility in accordance with 10 CFR 70.72(d)(2}, and is contained in Enclosure 1.. All of these changes were.evaluated against §70.72(c}(1)(i), (c)(1)(ii), (c)(2), (c)(3}, an~ (c)(4), and were determined *not to require prior NRC approval.
I A complete copy of the Integrated Safety Analysis (ISA) Summary and all revisions that were
- completed during the calendar year 2018 have also been provided in accordance with 1 O CF~
70.72(d)(3), and are contained in Enclosure 2. The.lSA Summary consists of an Introduction and Generic Accident Anaiyses document, 33 active Safety Ana{ysrs Reports (SARsJ, and 7 Facility Siting Reviews (FSRs). The submitted documents have been designated as either.
Confidential Restricted Data, Confidential National Security Information, or Official Use Only, and have been individually marked with the appropriate classification level. This infonnation must be managed on a strictly need-to-know basis. The Introduction and Generic Accident Analyses document contains information generic to all SARs including natural pheryomena and potential worst case scenarios. These generic accident analyses bound the scenarios described in the SARs. Please note that during 2018, SARs 15.10 and 15.43 were archlv~d due to elimination of affected worl< activities and will not be mcluded in this submittal.
