I Although satisfactory disposal of radioactive wastes must be the most pressing proplem facing your agency, surely the siting of nuclear reactors is of concern.

Living in northern Delaware currently places one within approximately 30 miles of 4 nuclear reactors-Salem I & II, Hope Creek ~ & II.

Delmarva Power Company of Wilmington plans to resurrect proposals for locating nuclear power units at Summit, DE, and for your agency to allow more reactors to be sited in this area is unconscionable **

Please give utmost regard to this condition facing the residents of the northern Delaware when reviewing any Delmarva Power Company proposal

  • Very truly yours~
