Notice of Meeting with Nuclear Industry Groups and other Stakeholders on Possible Regulatory Process Improvements for Advanced Reactor Designs - With Focus on Civil/Structural Topics Date(s) and Time(s): February 07, 2019, 09:00 AM to 04:30 PM Location: NRC One White Flint North, Commissioners' Hearing Room 11555 Rockville Pike Rockville, MD Category: This is a Category 2 meeting. The public is invited to participate in this meeting by discussing regulatory issues with the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) at designated points identified on the agenda.

Purpose:

The purpose of this meeting is to discuss with the nuclear industry and other stakeholders the initiatives within the industry and NRC related to the development and licensing of non-light water reactors. A special focus of this periodic meeting will be challenges and opportunities related to civil/structural topics (e.g., seismic isolation).
