QUALITY ASSURANCE IMPLEMENTATION INSPECTION OF NUSCALE POWER, LLC

Dear Mr. Afshar:

This letter documents the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staffs plan to perform a Quality Assurance implementation inspection at NuScale Power, LLC (NuScale), as it pertains to design and testing activities conducted for the NuScale Design Certification Application. As discussed in a telephone call on January 9, 2019, the inspectors plan to be on site at your facility beginning Monday, February 25, 2019, and will conduct the inspection through Friday, March 1, 2019. Subsequent to the inspection, an inspection report will be issued and transmitted to you via letter.
