Attachment to RA 19-0001 Page 1 of 1 Summary of Changes to One Procedure that Implements the Radiological Emergency Response Plan (RERP) for Wolf Creek Generating Station (WCGS)
- 1. Procedure EPP 06-011, "Emergency Team Formation and Control," Rev. 11 The procedure is being revised to addresses process changes for the Joint Radiological Monitoring Teams (JRMTs) to align with the guidance in Kansas Department of Health and Environment (KDHE) procedure DHE/REP31, "Joint Radiological Monitoring Team Procedure."
The change encompasses guidance that clarifies and defines the Radiological Coordinator responsibilities, instructions for the use of dose rate or count rate monitoring instruments, guidance for actions during a Hostile Action Based incident at WCGS, and enhanced guidance for the handling and packaging environmental samples and completion of the chain of custody form.
The change does not reduce the effectiveness of the Emergency Plan.
