Dear Nuclear Regulatory Commission,
There are numerous problems with the proposed interim storage site on the Texas-New Mexico border. Not enough study has been given to this proposal, and there certainly haven't been public hearings on the issue.
There is no permanent repository here as required by U.S. law. Given the gas and oil development, the fracking/earthquake issues, and the potential contamination of a major aquifer, this project MUST NOT move forward--
at least not without considerable further inquiry and input from the public.
