Docket 50-255 License DPR-20 Palisades Plant IE Bulletin 75-03 l
In response to IE Bulletin 75-03 "Incorrect Lower Disc Spring and Clearance Dimension in Series 8300 and 8302 ASCO Solenoid Valves," a preliminary review has disclosed that some of these valves are in use in safety-related systems at our Palisades Plant
- We are presently in the process of itemizing valves of the type described in the IE Bulletin and plan to inspect a representative sample of at least 101/o of the total but not less than 12 valves.
The results of this inspection will be used to determine the type of action that will be taken.

We plan to have this inspection completed by May 15 and will provide you with a report at that time.
This report will include action we have taken, or plan to take, to prevent failure of the type described in the IE Bulletin.
