Project Plan for Incorporating New Methods Acceptance Criteria in PRA Standard 12/18/2018 NRC Lead: Brandon Hartle, NRR\DRA\APLA Project: Issue NRC acceptance letter for use of Owners Group Document that delineate New Methods Acceptance Criteria and Key Definitions that will be included in the future ASME\ANS PRA Standard Key Assumptions:
- January 2019 workshop results in convergence of opinions on critical definitions and review criteria.
- Industry will provide necessary resources to address staff comments and support the proposed schedule.
Risks:
- Expansion of the above-mentioned scope, identification of new major technical issues, or divergence of expected resources to other high priority projects may affect timely completion of other tasks.
- NRC staff may be relocated or reassigned to support other high priority risk-informed initiatives (audits, observations, etc.)
