Keppler Off.ice of Inspection & Enforcement Region III US Nuclear Regulatory Commission 799 Roosevelt Road Glen Ellyn, IL 60137 DOCKET 50-255, LICENSE DPR-20 PALISADES PLANT, CRANE HOIST CONTROL Your letter dated July 28, 1976 transmitted IE Bulletin No 76-07. and requested information concerning crane hoist control circuit modifications for cranes handling spent fuel shipping casks.* A review of the Palisades Plant spent fuel building crane determined that we have not made nor do we plan to make modifications to the hoist c*ontrol similar to that described in IE Bulletin No 76-07..

We conclude that no further action is required.
