May26, 1970 This will advise'you that the inclusion of my name and that of this organizat;ion, which I represent, in an April 8, 1970, letter of petition for public hearing, by Messrs.
Ron McCandlis and joseph T. Sobota, M.D., concerning issuance of an operations license to the Consumers Power Company for its Palisades Michigan Nuclear Power Plant, was erroneol.ls.
Neither my organization nor myself was consulted in advance of that erroneous action. Neither Mr. McCandlis nor Dr.
Sobota was ever or is now authorized to act i-n a representa-tive capacity for us in this or any other respect of this or any other matter.
Kindly see to it that reference to us as one of the parties to the said petition is deleted.
We want it clearly under-stood for the record that we are not "withdrawing" from the action inasmuch as we never, in fact, joined in the action in the first instance.
