CONSIDERATION OF APPROVAL OF December 14, 2018 TRANSFER OF LICENSE AND CONFORMING AMENDMENT (Vermont Yankee Nuclear Power Station)

NEW ENGLAND COALITIONS WITHDRAWAL OF ITS REQUEST FOR A HEARING AND PETITION FOR LEAVE TO INTERVENE I. INTRODUCTION Now comes New England Coalition to withdraw its Request for a Hearing and Leave to Intervene in the above captioned matter.

II. DISCUSSION In consideration of the terms a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between New England Coalition, the State of Vermont and certain other parties; and the joint applicants for license transfer of the Vermont Yankee Nuclear Power Station, (Entergy Nuclear Vermont Yankee, LLC. and Entergy Nuclear Operations, Inc.

and NorthStar, Inc.), said MOU having been approved by the Vermont Public Utilities Commission on December 6, 2018, New England Coalition respectfully withdraws its Request for a Hearing and Leave to Intervene in the above captioned 1

matter. New England Coalition thanks the U.S Nuclear Regulatory Commission for its time and attention.
