co Telephone and TitlX reports to the NRC Region III IE office on February 23 and 24, 1978 identified a potential 14-day reportable occur~ence at the Palisades Plant.
Subsequent ev9-luation has resulted in the determinatio~ that the inventory of.
- water in the SIRW' tan~ was sufficient to. consider the tank as a valid source of borated water.
In addition, the valves between the SIRW tank and the *primary coolant system were verified to be in the proper positions to permit remote initiation of boric acid flow to the reactor.
Accordingly, this event report is being canceled.
