It is :my understanding that. the* Pal.isades Nuclear Plant
.near South Haven, Michigan is to undergo a replacement of the steam generator.
I have been contacted by several constituents who wish to voice their concerns in a public hearing.
Given their concern regarding the safe operation of this -plant, and my belief that we should allow as much citizen participation as pqssible, I hope you will allow public intervention at this hearing at the expense of the Nuclear Regulatory Commission. One group in particular that has filed for citizen partici-pation in this matter is the Great Lakes Energy Alliance.
