CYCLE 2, RELOAD FUEL This letter is written to provide additional information with respect to Question 4.A.4 (see letter dated March 10, 1976),

Other responses to this question were submitted by letters dat~d March 20 and April 8, 1976.

With respect to the supplemental analysis provided with our April 8, 1976 letter (1.0 DES/PD break), Exxon Nuclear has reviewed the analysis for peak metal-water reaction and found that the maximum oxidation at any point is nine to ten percent.

The total hydrogen release is calculated to correspond to much less than one percent of the zirconium reacting with water.
