Purple, Chief Operating Reactor Branch No 1 US Nuclear Regulatory Commission Washington, DC 20555 DOCKET 50-255, LICENSE DPR PALISADES PLANT - VESSEL TRANSIENT LOADS Your letter dated October 15, 1975 concerning questions related to the treatment of transient loads in the design of reactor vessel supports requested our review of the design bases for the reactor vessel support system.
We have been in contact with the Palisades Plant architect-engineer and the nuclear steam supply system vendor and are working out arrangements to have this review performed.
At the present time, we are unable to provide the date when this review will be completed.
