This letter is the Entergy Operations, Inc., (EOI) and Entergy Nuclear Operations, Inc. (ENOI)
(herein after collectively referred to as Entergy) 2018 response to the Reference 1 requirement for Entergy, as a holder of an NRC-issued facility clearance that has executed a Board resolution to mitigate Foreign Ownership, Control, or Influence (FOCI) concerns, to provide an annual certification that the resolution continues to be in effect.
CNRO2018-00052 Page 2 of 2 Entergy hereby certifies that the Board resolutions adopted in 2004 (Reference 2) by EOI, ENOI, and Entergy Corporation (EC) remain in effect serving as insulation tools to ensure that EOI and ENOI have been delegated full authority to act independently of the aforementioned parent organization (EC) in matters which relate to the responsibility of safeguarding classified information to which EOI and ENOI has access. The resolutions also ensure that EC will not have access to classified information being used or handled by EOl and ENOI.
