INTERIM D FINAL PART 1.D -- COMMENTS As permitted by the FOIA, 5 U.S.C. 552(a)(6)((B)(iv), and NRC's FOIA regulations, 10 CFR 9.39(e), we have aggregated your nine requests (listed below), for purposes of assessing fees, as we believe that your _requests, *submitted within a month's time, seeking records pertaining to search warrants, surveillances, subpoenas, wiretaps, and security related matters, actually constitute a single request for records of clearly related matters.

Nine Requests:

07/12/2018-AII past approved electronic surveillance orders 0.7/17/2018 - Copies,of all search warrants that NRC has applied for, 2010-current 07/19/2018 - Records, lists, databases, or reports that detail the number of material witness warrants used by NRC from

  • January 1, 2013 - current 07/19/2018 - Copies of all National Security Letters (NSL) served on NRC, 2000-current 07/19/2018 -All sub~oenas served on agency from Dept. of Justice or any of its sub offices under USDOJ, 2010-current 07/26/2018 -All requests from NSA to NRC requesting data or records in 2016-current 07/30/2018 -All communication between NRC and Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court (FISC), 2016-current 08/09/2018 - Copies of subpoenas issued administratively without prior judicial review, 2010-current 08/09/2018 - Copies of any affidavits and (:lxecutives reviews submitted in support of wiretap applications to Superior Court of Riverside County, CA, since 01/02/2012
  • After conferring with the offices of the General Counsel (OGC), Nuclear Security & Incident Response (NSIR), and Investigations (OI), no records were located. The Office of the Inspector General (OIG) was also asked to search and will be providing a separate response.
