Vietti-Cook REQUEST FOR A HEARING SUBMITTED BY ANDRES PAEZ REGARDING DENIAL OF SENIOR REACTOR OPERATOR LICENSE - DOCKET NO. 55-63784-SP The Office of the Secretary has received a request for hearing pertaining to the denial of a senior reactor operator license. The request was submitted via EIE on December 6, 2018, by Andres Paez in response to an examination appeal resolution letter from the Office of Nuclear Reactor Regulation (NRR), dated November 6, 2018. The letter notified him that following administrative review, the NRC is in agreement with Region ll's decision to deny a senior reactor operator license for the St. Lucie Station. Due to a delay in receipt of the letter by Mr.
Paez, NRR sent it out again on November 20, 2018. The hearing request, the original examination appeal resolution letter, and the re-sent letter are located in ADAMS at ML18340A058, ML18179A456, and ML18325A057, respectively, with the hearing request also available on the Electronic Hearing Docket.
Mr. Paez' request for a hearing is being referred to you for appropriate action in accordance with 10 C.F.R. § 2.346(i). This referral memorandum is being served on the E-Filing service list for the Andres Paez proceeding, Docket No. 55-63784-SP.
