[External_Sender] Docket ID: NRC-2016-0231 As a 4th generation family rancher on 30,000 acres in Loving County, Texas, adjacent to Andrews County, I want to aggressively oppose the transfer of this spent nuclear fuel anywhere in west Texas!
My father, a nuclear physicist at Los Alamos for 30 years always said the ONLY place for this spent radioactive fuel is at the bottom of the Marianas Trench in the Pacific. This foolishness must be stopped! Do you have any idea what the half-life of this material is? You are threatening our children and their children. Find another solution. like BLM land in New Mexico or Nevada.
Stop this dumb idea!
