During an internal review of the Enclosure 4, STS-005-:-020, Offsite Dose Calculation Manual (ODCM) of Reference (a), MARAD noted it was written to support the existing Technical Specifications Section 2 Radioactive Releases. Enclosure 1 is a revision to STS-005-020, Offsite Dose Calculation Manual (ODCM) that is consistent with the proposed Technical Specification language of Reference (a).
During an internal review of the Enclosure 5, STS-005-022, Radioactive Waste Process Control Program of Reference (a), MARAD noted that it should reference and include guidance found in NMSS Concentration Averaging and Encapsulation Branch Technical Position, Revision 1, Vol. I, February 2015. Enclosure 2 is a revision to STS-005-022, Radioactive Waste Process Control Program that includes the appropriate reference and guidance.
Pursuant to 10 CFR 50.9l(b), a copy of this letter has been forwarded to the State of Maryland. The Safety Review Committee has reviewed both enclosures to this letter.
