Midland, TX, 79707 Email: wcreech@valverdenergy.com General Comment Please reconsider transporting nuclear waste through the Midland, Texas area and west Texas.
This area is currently overrun by increased vehicle and railroad traffic due to the activity of supplying goods and services to the energy companies drilling wells to increase our domestic reserves. There are constant wrecks while transporting cargo on 18 wheelers and on trains.
The addition of train traffic with cargo that is deadly within a 50 mile radius in the event of a container failure is just too much to ask of Midland, Odessa and west Texas.
PLEASE RECONSIDER.
