REMARKS: IMC 2515 Appendix D, Plant Status, has been revised to address (1) comments provided by NRR/DMLR related to the period of extended operation, (2)
Feedback Forms 9900-2273 and 71111.08-2275 which resulted in creation of new IMC 0327, Steam Generator Tube Primary-To-Secondary Leakage, (3) use of mandatory and discretionary language with regards to steam generator tube primary-to-secondary leakage reports to NRR, and (4) a recommendation from the working group established to update the ROP for regulatory actions taken following the Fukushima Dai-ichi accident (ML17164A285).
IP 71111.18, Plant Modifications, has been revised to (1) Provide oversight of licensee commitments to update site specific SAMGs when the PWROG/BWROG issues revised generic severe accident technical guidelines.
Additional background information can be found in SRM SECY-15-0065 (ML15239A767) and a February 23, 2016 letter from the NRC to NEI (ML16032A029). (2) Conform to new IP format requirements found in IMC 0040 (ML18003A122).
IP 71111.22, Surveillance Testing, has been revised to (1) Address recommendations from the working group established to update the ROP for regulatory actions taken following the Fukushima Dai-ichi accident (ML17164A285). IP revised to allow for oversight of FLEX testing, and as a minimum, require one inspection sample per year. (2) Conform to new IP format requirements found in IMC 0040 (ML18003A122).
