ACKNOWLEDGMENT LETTER
Dear Mr. Boyle:
By letter dated September 25, 2018 (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS) Accession No. ML18292A563), the U.S. Department of Transportation requested NRC review and recommendation on revalidation of the French Certificate of Approval No.
F/357/B(U)-96 (Revision Eaf), for the Model No. TN-MTR package for import and export use.
This letter acknowledges receipt of your application and informs you that the application appears to contain the necessary information to begin our technical review. We have established an expedited review schedule for the technical review of your request. The schedule allows for the staff to issue a possible request for additional information by November 9, 2018, and, if a response to our request for additional information is received by the end of November, a recommendation on revalidation of the French certificate would be issued in mid-January. If no additional information is needed, the recommendation on revalidation will be issued by the end of December 2018.
