Our charges as government officials are Public Health and Public Safety and this proposal would endanger both of those charges.
In April of 2017 the Dallas County, TX Commissioners Court unanimously supported a resolution stating that we do not want spent nuclear waste fuel to be transported through the North Texas Region.
Please see the attached resolution to reiterate our concerns as a County.
