U.S. NUCLEAR REGULATORY COMMISSION RESPONSE TO DISPUTED
NON-CITED VIOLATION 05000272 AND 05000311/2018403-01
Dear Mr. Sena:
I am writing to acknowledge receipt of PSEG Nuclear, LLC (PSEG) letter dated September 19,
2018, in response to the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) Inspection Report
05000272 and 05000311/2018403 issued on August 6, 2018 (cover letter ML18218A506, cover
letter with non-public report ML18218A487)1.
The letter (ML18262A301) contested a Salem Nuclear Generating Station Green non-cited
violation (NCV 05000272 and 0500311/2018403-01). The letter stated that PSEG did not have
a performance deficiency during the implementation of their cyber security plan. The NRC
intends to review PSEGs response and provide you a letter documenting the basis for any
decision relative to the disputed NCV within approximately 90 days.
In accordance with Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations (10 CFR) 2.390 of the NRCs
Rules of Practice, a copy of this letter and your response (if any) will be available
electronically for public inspection in the NRCs Public Document Room or from the Publicly
Available Records component of the NRCs Agencywide Documents Access and Management
System (ADAMS). ADAMS is accessible from the NRCs website at
