Corrective Action All valves in similar positions on both units 1 and 2 to the failed va1ve reported in the subject abnormal occurrence report have subsequent~

. disassembled, inspected, and repaired.

The tack welds were found oroken on all three valves.

The disc had rotated approximately two inches and one inch circumferentially on valves 74-66 and 74-52, respective, on unit l.

Tne disc had not rotated on 74-52 on unit 2, Repairs were made by grinding off the broken tack welds and reweld.ng with large fillet welds in accordance with approved instructions.

Valve Data I'~ufacturer - Nalworth Company, Greensburg, PA 24" pressure seal angle glooe valve with limitorgue operator.
