5 The purpose of this letter is to file the fish impingement report for the. Browns Ferry Nuclear Plant units 1, 2, and 3 (Facility Operating Licenses DPR-33, DPR-'52, and DPR-68) for the third quarter of 1976 as required by the environmental technical specifi-cations.

A report dated August 13, 1976, was submitted including July counts which were conducted. in accordance with the Browns Ferry environmental technical specifications in effect before August 20, 1976, for units 1 and 2.

The August counts were also conducted under the pre-August 20, 1976, technical specifications for units 1 and 2.

The July and August counts for unit 3 were conducted in accordance with the unit 3 environmentaltechnical specifications as issued.

As of August 20, 1976, the Browns Ferry Nuclear Plant environmental technical specifications for units 1 and 2 are in agreement with those for unit 3 so that the data included for the month of September is presente in the same format for all three units.
