ANNIVERSARY Hr., Daniel R. Muller Assistant Director for Environmental U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission Mashington, DC 20555

@Q ~ 35) 50 ~260 Projects SQ-g g t;

Dear Mr. Muller:

The purpose of this letter is to file the monthly fish impinge-ment report for May 1975 for the Browns Ferry Nuclear Plant units 1 and 2 (Facility Operating Licenses DPR-33 and DPR-52) as required by the environmental technical specifications.

Meekly counts were conducted and the appropriate weighting factors applied for May 1975.

The data sheets with calculated fish impingement estimates are enclosed.

The scheduled bimonthly weighting factor evaluation was conducted on May 1 and 2, 1975, and the resulting factors were applied for all counts through Hay 22, 1975.

During the week of Hay 26, 1975, a second weighting factor evaluation was conducted as a result of plant operational requirements necessitating the use of additional CCM pumps not included in the May 1 and 2 evaluation.

Data sheets on'eighting factor evaluation results are also enclosed.

Very truly yours, WA~g J.

E. Gilleland Assistant Manager of Power 1
