Dear Mr. Chairman:
The purpose of this letter is to express my interest in the application of the Tennessee Valley Authority in getting the Browns Perry Nuclear Plant into oper'ation as soon as possible.
The Tennessee Valley Authority has an obliga-tion to consumers to keep the high cost of energy down.
Xf they are granted the authority to put units one and two of the plant into operation, millions of dollars vill be saved which could be passed on to the consumer.
Xt is my hope that you will permit them to proceed with the loading and testing of the units of the Browns Perry Plant.
Your eaxly consideration of their application will be greatly appreciated.
