General Comment Our community in the SW portion of Pearland, TX (SW of Houston) cannot be exposed to nuclear waste threats, especially since we are already dealing with and battling with the Blue Ridge Landfill to keep their landfill waste toxins out of our air. We are polluted on a regular basis with air pollutants that Blue Ridge Landfill has not controlled per TCEQ regulations. Please do not allow our environment to be exposed to radioactive, nuclear waste also! We want to be able to live healthy lives and have our children live free from constant air pollution. Having 2 detrimental air toxic facilities near our community would be detrimental to our health. Nuclear waste should be stored in isolated areas that are hundreds of miles away from human life and agriculture. Is there an island that is several hundreds of miles offshore where this nuclear waste can be stored?
