This is a Category 2 meeting. The public is invited to participate in this meeting by discussing regulatory issues with the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) at designated points identified on the agenda.
Purpose:
To Discuss plans for a November 15 inspection workshop. The workshop will address inspection of digital instrumentation & control (DI&C) installations approved under the guidance of ISG-06, Rev. 2 "Licensing Process." ISG-06, Rev. 2 is currently being developed and provides guidance for NRC staff's review of license amendment requests supporting installation of DI&C equipment. In particular, Rev. 2 of ISG-06 introduces an alternate review process which will be a primary focus of the inspection workshop.
