Dear Mr. Hinojosa:
As requested by your application dated August 23, 2016, as supplemented October 20, 2016, June 16, 2017, January 10, March 1, and September 4, 2018, enclosed is Certificate of Compliance No. 9374, Revision No. 0, for the Model No. HI-STAR 80 package. The staff's Safety Evaluation Report is also enclosed.
Holtec International has been registered as a user of the package under the general license provisions of Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations (10 CFR) 71.17 or 49 CFR 173.471.
The approval constitutes authority to use the package for shipment of radioactive material and for the package to be shipped in accordance with the provisions of 49 CFR 173.471.
