INSPECTION OF NUSCALE POWER, LLC, DESIGN CERTIFICATION FOR THE DESIGN AND ANALYSYS COMPUTERS CODES AT ARES CORPORATION
Dear Mr. Bergman:
This letter documents the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staffs plan to perform a design certification testing inspection of NuScale Power, LLC, as it pertains to design and analysis activities conducted at Ares Corporation. As discussed with NuScale staff Mr. Marty Bryan and Mr. Cyrus Afshar during calls on August 31, 2018, September 10, 2018, September 12, 2018, and September 19, 2018, the NRC inspection team plans to arrive at the Ares Corporation facility on Monday October 1, 2018 and will conduct the inspection through Friday October 5, 2018. Subsequent to the inspection, an inspection report will be issued and transmitted to you by letter. The lead inspector for this effort is Mr.
