OF AUGUST 20, 2018, PUBLIC MEETING WITH ENTERGY NUCLEAR TO DISCUSS PROPOSED NRC RESPONSE TO FAQ 18-04 On August 20, 2018 (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS)
Accession No. ML18229A022), a Category 2 public meeting was held between the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff and representatives from Entergy Nuclear to discuss the NRCs proposed response to Frequently Asked Question (FAQ) 18-04, ANO - 1 Scram One-Time Exemption Request. The NRCs proposed response to the FAQ was made available to the public before the meeting and can be found in ADAMS at Accession No. ML18228A501.
This meeting was a teleconference-only meeting. At designated points during the meeting, members of the public were invited to provide any comments on the presentations. The NRC staff discussed the proposed response and requested comments or questions from Entergy or other stakeholders participating in the public meeting. No questions or comments were received.
Because no comments were provided on the NRCs proposed response, the NRCs response to the FAQ was changed to approve final status. The NRCs final approved response can be found in ADAMS at Accession No. ML18232A233.
