CLARIFICATION REGARDING U.S. NUCLEAR REGULATORY COMMISSION APPROVAL OF CENTRUS ENERGY CORP. HEADQUARTERS CLASSIFIED ADMINISTRATIVE THIN CLIENT SYSTEM (ENTERPRISE PROJECT IDENTIFIER: C-2018-CYB-0000)

Dear Mr. Toelle:

The purpose of this letter is to clarify the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commissions (NRCs) letter dated September 4, 2018 (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS)

Accession Number ML18239A388), which approved Cenrus Energy Corp.s (Centrus) request dated June 22, 2018 (AC 18-0004). In AC 18-0004, Centrus had requested approval to process classified information on its Headquarters (HQs) Classified Administrative Thin Client System (ADAMS Accession Number ML18184A066).

In accordance with NRCs September 4, 2018 approval, Centrus is now fully authorized to resume processing classified information on its HQs Administrative Thin Client System up to, and including, Secret Restricted Data (RD). In addition, in accordance with the Department of Energys (DOEs) letter to the NRC dated August 15, 2018 (ADAMS Accession Number ML18235A277), this authorization to process up to, and including Secret RD on the HQ Administrative Thin Client System is valid through August 14, 2021. Please note that to maintain this authorization, the continuous monitoring report must be submitted to the NRC at least annually from the date of DOEs August 15, 2019, authorization letter to the NRC.

In accordance with Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations, Part 2.390 of the NRCs Agency Rules of Practice and Procedure, a copy of this letter will be available electronically for public inspection in the NRC Public Document Room or from the Publicly Available Records component of NRCs ADAMS. ADAMS is accessible from the NRC Web site at http://www.nrc.gov/reading-rm/adams.html.
