Dear Mr. Boyd:

Aerojet-General Nucleonics has reviewed the draft Technica_l Specifications for.the AGN Industrial Reactor (AGNIR) prepared by your staff and forwarded to AGN by.the reference letter. AGN is in agreement with your draft of the Technical Specifications subject to the following changes which were mutually.

agreed upon with Mr. Brian Grimes in a May 14, 1965 telephone conversation.

2. 25 dollars to be consistent with the maximum number of fuel elements in the reactor core (90).

In the first sentence, the words "consist of" be replaced by

  • 11include" as recommended by Mr. Grimes.

Add to this sentence "in the active core region."

Change _the second sentence to read as follows: "Any changes affecting the safety of the reactor as well as *** 11 Change the second sentence to read: "Any changes in the methods of handling radioisotopes *** 11 In.the second sentence, delete the words 11with a copy to the Deputy Reactor Supervisor;" as suggested by* Mr. Grimes.

  • Change the fir st sentence to read:

Both foot notes shall be modified by replacing 116 x 10-ll amps" with "*a fixed setting.. ii It is assumed that the above will permit-your final action on the AGNIR Technical Specifications.,
