4 Docket No. 50-250 and 50-251 Fire Protection Guidelines By letter dated February 3,
- 1978, you forwarded a request that Florida Power 6 Light Company (FPL) provide the results of the review of our fire protection program for conformance to the NRC guidelines, "Nuclear Plant Fire Protection Functional Responsibilities, Administrative
- Controls, and Quality Assurance".
During the period of time our response to the above was being compiled, FPL received additional guidance from the onsite NRC Fire Protection Review Team and from your staff Project Manager who issued Staff Positions and Concerns subsequent to our onsite review.
Xn view of the NRC staff's additional guidance and request for a meeting to discuss the Staff Positions and Concerns during the week of May 8,
- 1978, FPL is requesting that our response be deferred until June 5,
1978.
