Re:
Turkey Point Units 3 and 4, and St. Lucie Unit 1 Docket Numbers 50-250, 50-251, and 50-335 Nuclear Material Inventor S stem Florida Power and Light Company is required to submit a
report of Nuclear Material Inventory (NRC/ERDA Form 742) semiannually to the Nuclear Regulatory Commission.
The next report is due to be submitted by April 30, 1978.
We are presently changing our inventory system from an essentially manual system to a computerized system.
We prefer to submit the next report using the results of the computerized
- system, but we have found that additional time will be required to complete the transfer to the new system.
We therefore request that the required date for the next submittal of NRC/ERDA Form 742 for Turkey Point Units 3 and 4, and St. Lucie Unit 1 be changed from April 30, 1978 to August 31, 1978.
We have discussed this request with Mr. Marshall Grotenhuis of your staff and Mr. Gene Sparks of the Division of Safeguards.
Mr. Sparks informed us that the extension of the reporting time as we requested would not impact his record management system.
