Docket Nos. 50-250 and'50-'251 Steam Generator and Reactor Coolant Pum Su ort Materials An NRC letter of September 13, 1977 requested information relative to fracture toughness and lamellar tearing potential for steam generator and reactor coolant pump supports.
On October 17, 1977 we responded to the generic conern identified by the September 13 letter.
On May 18, 1978 you requested that we provide additional information on steam generator and reactor coolant pump support materials.
We have reviewed your request and find that our response will require the services of Bechtel Corporation.
The job of gathering the information has begun and will require an estimated 3 to 4 months to complete.
Therefore, we have established November 15, 1978 as the scheduled date for responding to your request.
