Dear Sir:

In a telephone conversation on January 14,

1975, between Mr. Paul Collins (AEC) and Mr. K. E. Beatty (FPL),

a request was made by Mr. Beatty to ex-tend the date from January, 1975, to March, 1975, for the annual licensed operator requalification examination at the Turkey Point Plant.

In dis-cussing the. request, it was determined that the requalification program at Turkey Point actua11y began in March, 1974, after the operators'ad:re-turned to work from the three-month work stoppage.

Mr. Collins then agreed that it would be all right to extend until March, 1975, the date of the annual requalification program examination.

Mr. Beatty then asked if the Turkey Point Senior Operator examination, to be given shortly to the Re-actor Operators that are desiring upgrading to Senior Operator, would count for their annual examination.

Mr. Collins agreed that successful comple-tion of this examination would also be acceptable as their annual requali-fication examination.

However, if any of these desiring upgrading are un-successful in passing the Senior Operator examination, they will then be required to take and pass the annual requalification examination for their classification at Turkey Point.

The other licensed personnel at Turkey Point that are not desiring upgrading will be examined, as ageed, in March, 1975.

Should you need any additional information, please contact me.

Very truly yours, J.

K.
